Tom Clancy's RAINBOW SIX SIEGE - game review

INTRO

Choose one of the many operatives and play demanding, diverse and destructive play. Do you like bombs? Or healing? Or stealth? You get the picture... Make irresistible attack or build ingenious defence.

VERDICT

Steep learning curve, but due to its enormous engagement it was never a grind. I've never enjoyed failing the mission so much. And even bigger is the joy of accomplishment. If you spot that finish line AI camper 😁

There's really nothing bad to say about the graphics. Crispy and eye catchy visuals make the game pleasure to just look at. And animations.. just like you were there! Visuals 5/5

It takes time to get used to, it is a kind of unique. After the 3rd mission repeat you make a breakthrough and plot a grandious plan how to exploit the features developers handed you and absolutely demolish AI defenders. Speaking in-game tutorial, AI is not plain dumb, has its position rotations, and can be painstakingly effective at eliminating you. It is not obligatory, but totally recommended. You receive in-game currency for completing missions and side quests (eg. kill 3 with grenade). And learn various types of operatives, which differ greatly. Aiming, shooting, dodging, taking cover - all is smooth and pleasure to use. Gameplay 5/5

The tutorial missions got me hooked up more than I am used to. So I easily spent an hour repeating mission, because of that innocent hostage just needed rescuing. Story 3/5

Optimisation is just fine. GUI is navigated with ease, in spite of having ton of options and menus. Maybe I would enjoy less of those. Settings are deeply customizable. Fortunately it looks like the game you actually enjoy playing even being in lobby. Not like setting work environment and then jump into game, to be dragged out of flow as you enter menus. Quality 4/5

Consistent experience. Engaging play. Compelling mechanics. Well-crafted. Been pleasure to play. VERDICT 17/20

Deserves better video, but shows the gameplay nicely ☺️
